In this course, you will learn and explore a more creative approach to icon painting. You will work on an icon of Saint Hilda. The canvas is yours to embrace, complete with the option to inscribe your icon or leave it open-ended, allowing for a truly personalised icon.

Throughout the course, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of egg tempera and the Russian method, which involves delicately layering paint to achieve delicate tones and shading.
